June’s auction week was a spectacular success. Intense bidding filled the saleroom from start to finish: beginning with the watch auction on the opening day – a “White Glove” sale in which every lot sold and two world records were achieved – followed by the jewellery auction, which delivered outstanding results and a sell-through rate of over 90%, and culminating in the Modern, Post-War, Contemporary and Swiss Art sales, where top prices included CHF 7 million for a work by Ferdinand Hodler and CHF 4.16 million for a painting by Paul Signac.
